Alders is a new event space located in Johannesburg, catering to a variety of fun, entertaining, and educational events such as Paint and Sips, Relationship Workshops, and Bespoke Garden Picnics. Alders required a website that could effectively market their unique venue, advertise their events, and provide an easy-to-use system for managing their event listings.
The primary goal was to create a user-friendly website that the owners could manage on their own, with minimal design changes or updates. This project included building a custom design and setting up a CMS that allows the Alders team to keep their event listings current, all while maintaining a visually appealing and cohesive brand experience.
1. Custom Website Design in Webflow:
• Delivered a fully customized, responsive design that reflects the Alders brand, engaging users on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• The site includes a dynamic layout showcasing upcoming events, with a clear call-to-action for visitors to book or learn more about the space.
2. Website Application Powered by Webflow CMS:
• Implemented a CMS-powered system that allows Alders to manage events efficiently without needing design adjustments. The CMS enables them to add, edit, and remove event listings with ease, ensuring the site stays updated.
• Integrated CMS collections for event management, allowing for easy content updates across different event types, including Paint and Sips, Workshops, and Picnics.
3. Micro-Interactions and Animations:
• Applied smooth animations and micro-interactions to enhance the user experience. Hover effects and subtle animations bring the site to life, making the browsing experience feel more engaging.
• These interactions were applied to key user actions such as browsing events and booking, ensuring that the site remains intuitive while providing visual cues.
The website is currently under the development phase, after passing the design phase and is used purely to market Alders, until the event pages are completed.
